If you don't have a Costco membership, get one now! Besides having a fantastic bakery, cheap gas and a great return policy, I recently discovered their beauty section. As soon as I saw it I thought, where has this been all my life? For all of you who may not have Costco in you country/area or just don't know what it is: Costco is a warehouse style store where you pay 50 dollars each year to be able to shop there and they sell everything, from food to printer paper to Hunter rain boots, all at warehouse prices & bulk sizes. Now, it sounds like it would be terrible quality, how else could they afford to sell their items for so cheap, but everything they sell is great.
Now let me stop rambling. So I was at Costco the other day and I was grabbing some moisturizer in bulk in the beauty aisle, and I noticed that they had makeup. I was so confused, Costco, selling makeup? What? So I looked online to see what this was about and boy, had I been missing out!
Costco sells all sorts of beauty products at incredible discounts, from mid range to high end. So today I thought I would show you some of the incredible products and deals I found on Costco.com as compared to the prices of said products at Nordstrom (They price match, so it should have the cheapest prices).

So I picked my favorite products to show you guys and first up is the Guerlain d'Enfer mascara. Now Guerlain is an incredibly luxurious brand like the high end of the high end so it was to my surprise to find their products at Costco of all places. I went to a Guerlain spa in NYC and I got to try some of their products and I must say they perform incredibly.
The mascara is available in Costco in the shade noir.
At Nordstrom it is: 30.00
At Costco it is: 23.99
So that makes the total discount around 20%, and for a brand that never goes on sale, that's a fantastic price!

Next up is the bareminerals complexion rescue tinted hydrating gel cream. This is a lightweight almost bb cream foundation that I've heard good things about.
At Nordstrom it is: 29.00
At Costco it is 19.99
That makes the total discount around 32%, again a stellar deal!

Next up is a cult favorite, the Bobbi Brown shimmer brick and it even comes with a brush
At Nordstrom it's: 46.00
At Costco however, it's: 32.99
Total discount: Around 29%

Another cult favorite and one that I would say is the best deal of all, This trio of full size Bobbi Brown lipsticks.
It includes 3 full size lipsticks. The shades are sandwash pink, pink and salmon.
At Nordstrom, the price for these three lipsticks combined is: 81.00
At Costco though: 36.99!!!
That makes the discount: Around 51%

Actually, the best deal that's not makeup is on fragrance. All of their fragrances are 49.99 regardless of fluid ounces which can make fantastic deals on an item that rarely goes on sale.
Guerlain Shalimar 3 oz
Nordstrom: 109.00
Costco: 49.99
Discount: Around 55%
Lancome Tresor eau de toilette 3.4 oz
Nordstrom: 102.00
Costco: 49.99
Discount: 51%
Chloe eau de parfum 1.7 oz
Nordstrom: 105.00
Costco: 49.99
Discount: Around 53%

Also all of their shipping is around 2 dollars regardless of what you purchase. Now do you see why I love Costco for beauty purchases? I don't know how I would have functioned before that!
Do any of you buy beauty products from Costco?

(Not sponsored by Costco, just thought I would throw that in there)

Hey everyone, I'm back with a new kind of post.

So, a while back I received this shadow stick in an Influenster VoxBox and I was super super excited. I happen to love the Clinique shadow sticks and I heard that these were a dupe and well who doesn't like saving money.
(NYC Shadow Stick in Tribeca Taupe)
It looked like this beautiful warm bronze color in the tube. When I swatched it, it was far from warm. It ended up being a cool grey taupe hybrid color. I'm sure plenty of people would love this color but I don't tend to like any shadows that are cool toned. This shadow stick has a very creamy, smooth and pigmented application but again the downside for me was the color. However, when I played around with it, I realized an amazing way to use the stick, as a contouring pencil! It provides a beautiful natural looking contour due to the greyish hue to the stick, perfect for beginners. That's all I've got for today so until next time byeee!

Hey everyone, I'm back with my daily foundation routine. Now I know some of you may be wondering: India, Why didn't you call it your daily makeup routine? Well the answer to that question is that I don't tend to wear anything but foundation and some concealer on a day to day basis because I am in university, so I'm on a time crunch all the time. So without further ado, this is my daily foundation routine.
($26, Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion, 6.7 oz with a pump)

So the first thing I do after I wake up, wash my face, brush my teeth, take a shower, etc. is to moisturize. I think that putting on moisturizer is essential to how your makeup lays, it's really important to avoid wearing anything very thick that would sit on top of your skin so that your foundation doesn't just slide right off. I like this moisturizer from Clinique, I know they make a gel version of this for oily skin but I have very dry skin so this one works perfectly for me. This moisturizer absorbs quickly and helps me eliminate dry patches on my skin. One tip I highly recommend is that if you want a tinted moisturizer, just blend 2 parts moisturizer and 1 part foundation. Also when I first bought this moisturizer I thought two things: 1) Holy Moly! How am I going to finish that entire bottle. 2) Is that gonna turn my skin yellow.  What I've found out is that 1) Even though I only use 1-2 pumps a day, I go through it like nobody's business and 2) No, it doesn't turn your skin yellow.
Ok so from here I have two paths of products, in the summer I tan very very very easily because I do play golf so I am outside a lot, so I have two sets of products

For the winter, when I am a typical medium shade:
(L'oreal True Match Super Blendable Concealer, $7.99, Light-Medium)
I use the L'Oreal True Match Concealer on any spots I have and I blend this in using my fingers.

For the summer, when I am a medium/deep shade:
(Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in Deep 35, $7.29)
I take the Maybelline Fit Me concealer and apply on any spots I have and blend in with my fingers. Sometimes in the winter, if I'm feeling fancy, I'll do a bit of contouring with it.

(e.l.f. Studio Stipple Brush, $3)
Then I take this stippling brush by e.l.f. to buff in the foundation I choose. I know it's a stippling brush but it works really well for buffing in product, also it's $3 so..

(Maybelline Fit Me Foundation, 230 Natural Buff, $6.56)

Ok so the winter foundation I use is the Maybelline Fit Me (the regular one). It's not the best if I'm being honest, it doesn't last long and sometimes cakes up. I've just been too lazy to buy a different foundation in the same shade

(L'oreal True Match Foundation, N7 Classic Tan, $9.99)
So the summer foundation I use is the L'Oreal True Match . Does this even need an explanation, it is the queen of drugstore foundations. It's fantastic.

(Up and Up Powder Brush, $6.99)
Next I take this brush, I think it's a blush brush, but I use it as a powder brush from Target to set my makeup. Side note though, no one talks about these brushes from the Target brand and Oh my god are these soft. Like really soft. Like can I keep this on my face all day.

(So this shade got discontinued apparently -_- but it was in 325)
Lastly I use the Maybelline Fit Me powder foundation for a little extra coverage and to get the demi matte finish. Then I pop out of the flat and go to class.

One of my favorite drugstore brands is E.L.F. otherwise known as eyes lips face. Their flawless finish foundation is one of my absolute favorites. It comes in a large variety of skin tones and specifically caters towards the tan range. As a girl who tends to be in the medium/deep skin tone, it's very difficult to find the right shade in the "tan" range because most makeup companies formulate the tan color with neutral undertones and only keep 1 or 2 shades in the medium tone. However, E.L.F. flawless finish foundation has multiple, I happen to be 83114 or Caramel.

The packaging is very sleek with a frosted glass bottle and a matte black top, and best part of it all, it has a pump! The packaging makes the product on the heavier side, making it less-than-convenient for travel. The coverage is on the light/medium side and it has a slight glitter. Don't be scared, it doesn't wear with the glitter, I have no idea where that glitter goes. The formulation is not very thick but it runs on the watery side. One drawback of this foundation however, is that it oxidizes on my skin very fast. I believe that this foundation is a cheaper alternative to the Maybelline Fit Me foundation.
Overall: 4/5
