Hey guys! Bet you thought I forgot about you guys but guess what, I'm back and better than ever!

Today I just received an online order I got from Sephora and I thought, Why not show you all!
I didn't order as much as a lot of people do because well I just wanted this one thing.
This elusive thing is (Drumroll)................

The Sephora Favorites Liquid Luxury Sampler!

Now this doesn't sound too exciting on face value, but it really is very cool. I love the concept behind it. So Sephora comes out with their Sephora Favorites perfume samplers in two versions: the liquid luxuries and the normal one. They both cost 65 dollars but they have a greater value. I bought the liquid luxuries one because they had the Marc Jacobs Daisy scent, which I already knew I loved. Let me stop rambling and explain.

So the idea behind the product is that you buy this little sampler kit of 15 sample sizes of different luxury perfumes. Then inside the box also comes a little certificate which allows you to get a free full size of any one of the perfumes! Most of the perfumes in the box cost more to buy alone than if you just buy the kit! What's not to love and if you already know you love one of the scents, there is no risk in it and maybe you will discover a new favorite! I got to experience some scents that I would have never thought I would like and now the hardest part is choosing which one I want! I would definitely say to buy it when they send out the 10 dollars and 20 dollar off coupons in the winter so you can get it for a even steeper steal! I only bought mine now because I wanted to redeem my birthday gift for 2016. Also, one thing to note is that all of the scents are very floral so if you don't like that type of scent, I would stay away. Another thing to keep in mind is that although some scents are more expensive on their own, some are cheaper than the price of the box. Listed below are the prices for all of the perfumes for the size you can redeem the certificate for.

Atelier Sud Magnolia- 1 oz: $85
Burberry My Burberry-1 oz: $72
Bvlgari Omnia Crystalline-1.3 oz: $65
Chloé Chloé-1 oz: $75
Elizabeth and James Nirvana Black-1.0 oz: $60
Elizabeth and James Nirvana White- 1.0 oz: $60
Giorgio Armani Sí-1.0 oz: $61
Gucci Flora by Gucci Gorgeous Gardenia - 1.6 oz: $77
Marc Jacobs Daisy-1.7 oz: $78
Narciso Rodriquez For Her-1 oz: $55
Prada Candy-1 oz: $66
Thierry Mugler Alien-1 oz: $80
Tom Ford Velvet Orchid-1 oz: $80
Tory Burch Tory Burch-1 oz: $68
Versace Bright Crystal-1 oz: $55

I also got my Sephora Birthday gift and I redeemed it for the Marc Jacobs set

Inside the set you get a mini (very very very small) lipstick and a black eyeliner!

Have you tried this set? What do you think? Leave it in the comments below!

If you don't have a Costco membership, get one now! Besides having a fantastic bakery, cheap gas and a great return policy, I recently discovered their beauty section. As soon as I saw it I thought, where has this been all my life? For all of you who may not have Costco in you country/area or just don't know what it is: Costco is a warehouse style store where you pay 50 dollars each year to be able to shop there and they sell everything, from food to printer paper to Hunter rain boots, all at warehouse prices & bulk sizes. Now, it sounds like it would be terrible quality, how else could they afford to sell their items for so cheap, but everything they sell is great.
Now let me stop rambling. So I was at Costco the other day and I was grabbing some moisturizer in bulk in the beauty aisle, and I noticed that they had makeup. I was so confused, Costco, selling makeup? What? So I looked online to see what this was about and boy, had I been missing out!
Costco sells all sorts of beauty products at incredible discounts, from mid range to high end. So today I thought I would show you some of the incredible products and deals I found on Costco.com as compared to the prices of said products at Nordstrom (They price match, so it should have the cheapest prices).

So I picked my favorite products to show you guys and first up is the Guerlain d'Enfer mascara. Now Guerlain is an incredibly luxurious brand like the high end of the high end so it was to my surprise to find their products at Costco of all places. I went to a Guerlain spa in NYC and I got to try some of their products and I must say they perform incredibly.
The mascara is available in Costco in the shade noir.
At Nordstrom it is: 30.00
At Costco it is: 23.99
So that makes the total discount around 20%, and for a brand that never goes on sale, that's a fantastic price!

Next up is the bareminerals complexion rescue tinted hydrating gel cream. This is a lightweight almost bb cream foundation that I've heard good things about.
At Nordstrom it is: 29.00
At Costco it is 19.99
That makes the total discount around 32%, again a stellar deal!

Next up is a cult favorite, the Bobbi Brown shimmer brick and it even comes with a brush
At Nordstrom it's: 46.00
At Costco however, it's: 32.99
Total discount: Around 29%

Another cult favorite and one that I would say is the best deal of all, This trio of full size Bobbi Brown lipsticks.
It includes 3 full size lipsticks. The shades are sandwash pink, pink and salmon.
At Nordstrom, the price for these three lipsticks combined is: 81.00
At Costco though: 36.99!!!
That makes the discount: Around 51%

Actually, the best deal that's not makeup is on fragrance. All of their fragrances are 49.99 regardless of fluid ounces which can make fantastic deals on an item that rarely goes on sale.
Guerlain Shalimar 3 oz
Nordstrom: 109.00
Costco: 49.99
Discount: Around 55%
Lancome Tresor eau de toilette 3.4 oz
Nordstrom: 102.00
Costco: 49.99
Discount: 51%
Chloe eau de parfum 1.7 oz
Nordstrom: 105.00
Costco: 49.99
Discount: Around 53%

Also all of their shipping is around 2 dollars regardless of what you purchase. Now do you see why I love Costco for beauty purchases? I don't know how I would have functioned before that!
Do any of you buy beauty products from Costco?

(Not sponsored by Costco, just thought I would throw that in there)

Hi everyone, I'm sorry I've been gone for a little while now, I promise I'll be better at posting from now on and not skipping two months at a time :) I had a hectic schedule there for a while but everything's settled down now so you can expect at least a post a week and if I don't post, I give you fill permission to comment angrily demanding me to post. Also on the note of comments, I would love it if you guys would comment anything you would like to see so I can give y'all content that you want to see.
So long tangent aside, I thought I would make a post on how I like to save money on makeup, and well just in life, because who doesn't love saving money on makeup? Also, lets be honest here, buying new makeup (or beauty products in general) can be realllly expensive. So without further ado, here is how I like to save money on makeup.

Tip 1) TJ Maxx, Marshalls, and Nordstrom

So the first tip I have for y'all is to buy all the makeup/beauty products you need from these places. TJ Maxx and Marshalls both sell a lot of high end makeup products for a slightly lower prices, which can be nice, but their real gems are the drugstore/ medium price products. I buy all of my nail polishes exclusively from these stores. The nice thing about them is they have a wide range of colors and brands, not just the ugly colors no one wants. I bought this gorgeous Butter London nail polish from my local TJ Maxx and it was only 2 dollars. 2 DOLLARS. Now Nordstrom is a fantastic place to go for higher end makeup and beauty products. The nice thing about Nordstrom is that they price match everything, so you always get the best deal. I bought a bunch of Batiste from their website for 5 dollars each. Plus they also offer no minimum free shipping and 3 free samples with every beauty order. It's like Sephora but better. Currently, I've got my eye on the Naked on the Run palette that they have for 39 dollars marked down from 54 elsewhere. Also they do a lot of gifts with purchase so be sure to check that out before buying.

Tip 2) Coupons, coupons, coupons

I cannot say it enough, coupons are a girls best friend. Every Sunday paper I've ever had includes a huge pack of coupons and more than 25% of them are for beauty/ makeup products. Coupons almost always work on top of sales and sometimes there can be really high value coupons in the inserts and even online. This brings me to my next point.....

Tip 3) Do your research

Right before I head out of the door to go shopping, I always check for online printable manufacturers coupons, places that are having sales and check my email for any exclusive sales/promotions.

That's all I have got for you today, If you want to see more posts like this, let me know below!

Again, thanks for your patience, I really appreciate it

xx,
India
